Music
Gahanna Christian Academy offers a variety of music experiences for grades K-12.
ELEMENTARY
Grades K-2 concentrate on singing and rhythm instruments, while our 3rd graders enjoy working with Boom Whackers. In 4th & 5th grade, the children learn to play hand chimes and recorders. The elementary students participate in annual Christmas and spring music programs, which are performed for parents and friends
MIDDLE SCHOOL.
In the 6th grade, students participate in either band or choir. 7th & 8th graders take a hand chime class and have the option of band or choir, as well. Middle School students participate in the Christmas and spring concerts, each year.
HIGH SCHOOL
Grades 9-12 have the option of taking band or choir. They participate in the Christmas and spring concerts, as well as various local performances and competitions.
