Partnership Fund Program
Gahanna Christian Academy (GCA) established the Partnership Program to replace the reliance on various fund-raising efforts that provided needed income to the General Fund. The Partnership Program was designed to permit donors to specify where their donations would be used. Some of the Partnership Program Funds were established with long range goals in mind. However, most of them are essential to the day-to-day operation of our school and are intended to minimize the increases in tuition and help us eliminate fees.
Prayerfully consider in which of the following areas God would have you partner with us. Contributions to these designated funds will be maintained separate from normal operating funds and carefully accounted for to insure they are used for their intended purpose (with the exception of the General Fund).
Ø General Fund – Used for operating expenses such as the current teacher/staff salaries and benefits, equipment, supplies, routine maintenance of facilities, etc. Need -- $50,000
Ø Financial Assistance Program – To provide a measure of assistance to families financially unable to afford the full cost of a quality Christian education for their children. We have allocated over $60,000 based on needs presented but have held some applications based on lack of funds availability. Need -- $60,000
Ø Technology Enhancement Program – Funds are used to update computer and other technology for students and staff at GCA. This includes maintenance and support costs for the computers and systems used to manage the school.
Need -- $30,000
Ø Curriculum / Educational Materials / Library Fund – To purchase books, audiovisual equipment and other educational materials needed to assure a strong academic program. Costs for these materials are escalating rapidly. Need -- $20,000
Ø Art, Drama, Music, Science, or Athletic Programs – Funds are used to purchase materials and equipment used in these crucial programs that help our students explore and develop their talents. $5,000 is needed for each program and funds will be maintained separately for each program. Need -- $25,000 total
