GIVING OPPORTUNITIES
Gahanna Christian Academy was founded in 1980 as a faith based outreach ministry that would not be totally dependent on tuition funds for its operating expenses. Funds for the operation of GCA come from four main sources: tuition, free-will gifts (donations), fund-raising projects, and programs (e.g., Extended Care).
Presently, tuition does account for over 90% of GCA's income. However, we are working hard to change our heavy reliance on tuition income Through the Partnership Program, donors can be specific as to which programs or activities they want to support with their money. We encourage you to prayerfully consider how God would have you partner with GCA in providing a quality, Christ-centered education to hundreds of young people every year.
GCA is a ministry well worth considering as you prayerfully distribute the financial resources with which God has blessed you.
If you would like to discuss long term estate giving or giving a non-monetary gift, or donating assets to our Endowment Fund, please contact us so we can share the opportunities you may have to positively impact students at GCA.
Other Support Opportunities:
United Way: Simply write in GCA’s name, address, and phone number in the applicable spot on your pledge card and indicate agency code “99” (Gahanna Christian Academy, 817 N Hamilton Road, Gahanna, OH 614-471-9270 ext 2269).
Volunteering: There are a multitude of on-going tasks that can be accomplished by volunteers. Contact the administrative office at 614-471-9270 ext 2400 for more information on how you can assist us by volunteering.
Matching Grants: Many employers will match donations made to a charitable or non-profit organization. Some will match money donations, others will also make matching donations based on volunteer work done for the non-profit organization.
